The 5th Wheel Thunder 2 is a foldable, 350-watt e-bike featuring a Shimano six-speed derailleur, mechanical disc brakes, and a 20-mph top speed.3:06 Designed for portability, the bike weighs significantly less than fat-tire models, making it suitable for transport via dinghy and storage aboard a 46-foot sailboat.0:11 The motor requires one pedal revolution to engage the throttle, which provides maximum power regardless of the selected pedal-assist level.6:07 The bike includes a front light powered by the main battery, while the rear light operates on independent alkaline batteries.10:34 It lacks a luggage rack and hydraulic brakes, but its lightweight frame and $699 price point offer a practical, space-saving solution for cruisers.14:16 The bike remains easy to pedal without motor assistance, allowing for variable exercise levels.11:58
