The Hunter Marine 420 is a fin-keel cruiser with a spade rudder, built by Hunter Marine from 1998 to 2004, featuring a B&R rig. It measures 13.2 meters LOA with a 4.2-meter beam and a 2.0-meter draft, displacing 8845 kg. Aboard *Sailing Jibsea*, the crew sailed their Hunter 42 through the Northern Exuma Cays in the Bahamas, visiting Allen's Cay, Norman's Cay, Highburn Quay, Warderick Wells Cay, O'Brien's Cay, Rocky Dundas, and Big Major Cay. They navigated 15 to 18 knots of wind on a broad reach to Warderick Wells Cay.2:43 While hauled out in Grenada, the crew of *Jibsea* raised their waterline by taping a new bootstripe, curving the aft section upward to account for the boat's trim, and applied a two-part gray paint.8:50 They repaired a small crack near the exhaust outlet with epoxy and fiberglass roving, and repainted the Yanmar diesel engine block after removing the alternator and starter.2:55 The crew also constructed custom dinghy chaps from inexpensive fabric, drilling holes through the dinghy's rub rail to secure them, and sewed storage pouches from leftover canvas.13:56
