The Pogo 40 is a 12.2-meter fractional sloop designed by Groupe Finot and built by Chantier Naval Structures, first introduced in 2005. It was among the first boats designed to the Class40 rule, which was finalized the same year, and has undergone multiple generations, including a major redesign in 2013 with the Pogo 40S3. The hull features a fin keel with a bulb and dual rudders, a geometry borrowed from offshore racing classes. This design allows for planing, with similar boats reaching sustained speeds in the 20s and peaks approaching 30 knots downwind.4:06 It displaces 4799 kg, has a 4.4-meter beam, and a 3.0-meter draft.
