Ryan and Brittni, owners of the sailboat Sunday, complete a DIY exterior paint job on their fifth-wheel RV while boondocking in the Kofa National Wildlife Refuge in Arizona.5:05 After being asked to leave an industrial parking area in Los Angeles, the couple travels to Indio, California, to visit friends before relocating to the desert to finish the project.0:09 Ryan applies Total Boat wet edge topside paint to the RV, using a black finish for the lower trim and an off-white for the sides.13:09 He notes that the thick paint requires only one coat for the black sections, though wind and dust in the desert environment complicate the application process.10:00 The couple uses Google Maps satellite imagery to navigate to their remote campsite after dark.5:25 The project concludes with the removal of masking tape and the application of silicone beading to seal the trim.12:22
