Færderseilasen, Norway's major offshore race, drew dense fleet starts on the fjord with boats on both port and starboard tacks at the gun — a rules confusion that created action on the start line.0:14 SEILmagasinet covered the race with on-site photography and a live broadcast: Kristian Østby mounted two cameras on his boat and installed Starlink for connectivity, but one camera failed in the rain. Østby plans to use the same live-streaming setup for the Race of the Arctic, treating Færderseilasen as a test run.1:00 Results were delayed by a crash in the Manage to Sail scoring system, forcing the organizing committee KNS to call sailors individually to confirm finish times.2:01 When results finally appeared, controversy followed: KNS applied weather routing for handicap calculations for the second consecutive year, and when the routing data did not match actual conditions, sailors disputed the outcomes.2:31 Errors also appeared in prize distribution across classes where handicap was not a factor.2:45 Correct results were not published until five days after the race.2:50 Thomas Nilsson is interviewed separately about the race, and race photos are available for purchase through SEILmagasinet.2:58
