The crew of Parlay Revival fabricates a custom aluminum dog toilet to address sanitation issues on their boat while undergoing a yard period in Porta Marina, near Cebu City, Philippines.14:59 The design features a sloped 3mm aluminum tray with a corner drain and a handrail, intended to allow waste to wash directly overboard rather than pooling on the deck.21:13 Fabricators assist with MIG and TIG welding the tray and support legs, while the crew adds a rubber mat and artificial turf to the finished structure.2:24 During the same yard period, the crew replaces failed winch seals, re-wraps vinyl surfaces, and organizes gear for an upcoming 1,700-mile passage to Bali via Palawan.3:20 The project concludes with the discovery of a snapped rudder stock pin on the eve of sea trials.23:04 A custom-built, sloped drainage system can effectively manage pet waste on deck, provided the structure is secure and accessible for the animals.
