Domestic clearance in Malaysia requires visiting the harbormaster, Customs, and Immigration offices at every port of call.9:51 At Pangkor Marina, the marina office acts as the harbormaster and provides the necessary paperwork and sequence of visits for the other two offices.10:26 The process is free, though the order of offices varies by location.11:24 Cruisers can consult the No Foreign Land app for specific port procedures.11:41 If clearing in and out simultaneously, sailors must declare their next destination and are then committed to that route.10:40

Pangkor Marina offers haul-out services using a hydraulic trailer-style lift, but the facility is significantly more expensive than alternatives like the B&B Marine Boat Yard in Langkawi.16:20 Monthly rates at Pangkor for a 30-foot boat reach $600, compared to $210 in Langkawi.3:22 Facilities at Pangkor, including showers and toilets, are basic and lack hot water.29:36 Sailors planning extended stays or haul-outs in Malaysia should compare regional pricing and amenities, as costs and infrastructure vary drastically between marinas.29:49
