The owners of the catamaran Mistertong perform maintenance and prepare for departure while anchored. The primary technical project involves fabricating custom fiberglass gutters for the anchor locker to prevent water stagnation and wood rot. The process uses polyurethane foam templates, biaxial fiberglass cloth, resin, and peel ply to create durable, water-shedding channels. Additional repairs include re-seating a stanchion with a Teflon washer and sanding the deck around the windlass. The crew manages high humidity levels during the lamination process, noting the risk of poor resin catalysis. Between tasks, the crew hosts friends, observes leopard rays in the anchorage, and prepares meals. The owners also announce their involvement with a realistic mobile sailing simulation game where their boat is featured.
