Lauren Landers returns to her boat in a Grenada boatyard after a three-month haul-out to find multiple electrical and maintenance failures. The lithium battery bank failed to hold a charge, showing internal errors and requiring a reset via a 14.5-volt solar controller input.2:13 Two solar panels stopped charging due to melted and corroded negative wiring.1:31 The freezer, dependent on the failing battery bank, repeatedly shut down, requiring a deep cleaning with bleach.5:58 Landers inspected all through-hull fittings by striking them with a hammer to ensure structural integrity.4:57 She attempted to remove a shaft seal using a three-prong puller, but the tool broke, forcing her to hire yard staff for the extraction.6:37 Additional projects included removing davits, installing an AIS transceiver, bleaching water tanks, and sourcing a socket to fit rusted 30-year-old keel bolts.9:13 She ultimately replaced one lithium battery and planned further electrical troubleshooting with Xantrex support.8:56
