Brittany and Jeremiah use a two-week weather hold — Atlantic lows producing storms, lightning, and high winds — to front-load provisioning and prep before offshore passages to remote parts of the Bahamas.0:44 Docked with unlimited shore power, Brittany cooks banana bread and lasagnas that can be reheated quickly underway, and repurposes dinner leftovers (potatoes, Brussels sprouts, eggs) into breakfast wraps and bowls to minimize galley work at sea.3:36 Jeremiah handles video editing; their son Reese front-loads schoolwork because seasickness makes lessons difficult underway.1:44 Brittany also tries on four designer bikinis bought from a boutique at Atlantis — teal, green, pink, and a multicolor print she calls her favorite — from a designer she believes is based in South Beach, possibly "Lully Fema."7:00 She notes chlorine damages the fabric, so she reserves them for saltwater use.5:46 Brittany shares that her Yorkie, Bella, died at 15 after being passed to her grandmother for companionship following her grandfather's death.8:43 The practical throughline: dock time during a weather window is used to batch-cook passage food, charge drone batteries, and clear the to-do list so the crew can depart on short notice when a calm day opens.
