Nova Loman, sailing solo with her dog Neno, navigates a series of anchorages while managing high humidity and persistent rain. After anchoring in Rassa vikar, she forages for wild strawberries and chicken-of-the-woods mushrooms. Prolonged wet weather leaves her clothing and rubber boots soaked, forcing her to dry gear on deck whenever the sun appears. To address loud cable rattling inside her mast—which is constructed from a sewage pipe—she attempts to dampen the noise by filling the interior with packing chips. The process proves slower than anticipated, requiring an estimated 16 hours to reach the spreaders. She continues to sail between small islands, coordinating with friends Elea and Pierre-Louis for mooring and social stops.
