Andy scouts two Lake Superior marinas — Ontonagon, Michigan and Saxon Harbor — as summer work sites for his boat, which still needs swing keel service and through-hull access that require the boat off its cradle on jack stands.4:40

Ontonagon is a small marina of roughly 30 slips with a travel lift, good road shoulders on the one-hour drive from Andy's shop, and proximity to a hardware store.4:23 Its main drawback: power outlets are mounted on light poles spaced 300–400 feet apart, making it impractical to run extension cords to a boat in the back of the yard.6:12 Saxon Harbor is a familiar, scenic location but has a three-to-four-foot highway shoulder the entire route, raising trailering safety concerns.19:28 Andy leans toward Ontonagon despite the power problem, planning to use the Blue Eddy Elite 300 portable power station to run tools, a Starlink dish, a fridge-freezer, and camera gear without shore power.18:27 A road-trip test of the Blue Eddy ran Starlink for roughly 24–30 hours, the fridge for 17–18 hours, and multiple charging devices simultaneously, leaving 52% capacity remaining.14:33 Andy also proposes wiring the Blue Eddy as a pass-through UPS for his shop's hydronic boiler to survive winter outages that have reached 12 hours at –25°F actual temperature.17:15
