Forward sail inventory shifted from a furling tacker to a roller-furled medium genoa, supplemented by a long-luff staysail reaching the masthead for a maxi genoa on a snap shackle (used to 12–13 knots), a 115 m² symmetric spinnaker, an 83 m² small spinnaker, and an asymmetric for autopilot-friendly deep angles.2:48 All halyards run to the masthead; all lines lead aft under a cockpit coachroof canopy that was already aboard in 2022 and is now permitted under 2026 rules.9:03

Power comes from two solar panels — one on deck, one on the canopy — with fully internalized wiring and dual independent regulators.11:49 A mini Starlink handles video transmission; an Iridium satellite unit, HF SSB radio, radar-echo amplifier (EcoMax), and a weatherfax antenna complete the electronics suite.22:30 A piece of yarn at the companionway serves as his wind indicator.25:51
