After two months of repairs to the sail drive, the crew of the sailboat *Bohemia* returns to the water in the Sea of Cortez, Mexico.0:19 The owner performs a maintenance cycle on the watermaker, replacing 5- and 20-micron pre-filters and flushing the system of propylene glycol storage solution.1:30 To power the watermaker, the crew uses a portable gasoline generator connected via a 110V shore power adapter.2:46 During a coastal passage toward Ramada Cove, the crew catches a mahi-mahi and monitors weather forecasts to avoid hurricane-related winds.10:18 Upon arrival, the owner inspects the sail drive oil after 30 hours of operation; the oil remains clear, confirming the recent repair successfully prevented water intrusion.21:45 However, the crew discovers saltwater flooding in the bilge.23:30 The leak originates from a shared through-hull fitting that serves both the toilet and the watermaker; when the boat heels during navigation, water backflows through the watermaker intake.25:25 The owner installs a temporary shut-off valve to stop the ingress, noting that a dedicated through-hull for each system is required for safety.25:54
