The International 14 is a 4.3-meter fractional sloop centerboard dinghy, built from 1928 to the present, known as a high-performance two-man development racing dinghy. It displaces 74 kg and has a 1.8-meter beam. The design has historically introduced performance innovations, including early trapeze use in 1938 and twin trapezes in 1984. Its spinnaker typically measures 32 square meters, and it features a skiff-like hull, hiking racks, and a large flat-head main. The International 14 class merged with the 'Aussie' version in 1996, which previously had slightly different rules. Uffa Fox, a designer of the International 14, also applied its planing-hull principles to keelboats like the Flying 30.3:31
