The final 1,200-nautical-mile leg from Horta to Brixham, United Kingdom, includes three days of motoring due to light winds, following earlier encounters with thunderstorms and calm conditions. The crew manages provisioning and maintenance stops in each port before the final arrival. The vessel maintains an average speed of 10 knots in heavy air and experiences varied weather patterns, including electrical storms and periods of total calm, throughout the three-stage transatlantic voyage.
