Hva denne videoen dekker

Holly navigates the Pacific Ocean solo on a passage from the Galapagos toward the Marquesas. During light-wind conditions near the equator, she maintains a close-to-beam reach while heading south-southwest, averaging 3.7 knots. To manage fatigue during night watches, she wraps herself in a working jib for warmth and keeps one arm free to adjust the helm. She successfully engages the wind vane after a light breeze develops at midnight, allowing for two hours of sleep in the cockpit. For sun protection, she rigs a temporary shade using a thick blanket and a towel secured with clothespins. She plans to adjust her course once she reaches more favorable latitudes to catch wind and current for the final stretch to French Polynesia. Due to poor internet connectivity in French Polynesia, she distributes video files by mailing micro SD cards to the United States for remote uploading.
