Hva denne videoen dekker

The crew of Jibsea completed an 80-nautical-mile passage from the British Virgin Islands to St. Martin, timing the 13-hour motor-sail to arrive in daylight.3:35 Upon arrival, they prioritized securing their dinghy against theft by installing an 8-millimeter stainless steel chain and a padlock, securing the chain to a custom-drilled stainless steel eyelet on the aluminum hull.8:02 The crew then performed a cockpit restoration, sanding weathered teak benches and seats before applying Total Boat Danish Teak Sealer.9:11 They chose the sealer over varnish or oil to maintain a natural, water-repellent finish that resists salt-water accumulation.12:55 Additionally, they installed recessed cockpit lighting by drilling into the wood and mounting the fixtures behind the surface to provide indirect mood lighting.16:47 The project concluded with a mix of matte-sealed teak and high-gloss varnish on the companionway doors and flagpole to create visual contrast.20:04
