Hva denne videoen dekker
A couple sailing a lightweight boat without an engine navigates the Exumas in the Bahamas during a period of light winds and strict lockdown regulations. After departing Black Point at sunrise, they rely on a gennaker to maintain speeds of 3 to 5 knots in 5 to 6 knots of wind.8:18 Upon reaching Dottam Cut, they encounter strong, contrary currents that reduce their speed to 0.3 knots, forcing them to tack repeatedly to maintain steerage.14:25 As the wind dies completely near their destination, the crew deploys their dinghy to tow the sailboat.16:16 By using two dinghy motors simultaneously, they achieve a speed of 4.1 knots, allowing them to reach the anchorage at Black Point by sunset.20:15 The experience demonstrates that a small, lightweight vessel can be towed into an anchorage using a dinghy when the primary engine is inoperable and wind conditions are insufficient for sailing.
