A music album titled "Tales from the Sea" — Volume 1, subtitled "Tales of the Past" — released by Vlad aboard Mirage contains original sea-themed songs performed in a traditional maritime ballad style. The tracks draw on classic sailor archetypes: a corsair crew battling a frigate squadron and debating whether to return to Portland, a tavern brawl in Cape Town between English and French sailors aboard the Jeanette that leaves fourteen men dead, a ship's departure from a homeland called Robicke into a harsh ocean voyage, a soldier's lament over fallen comrades, a comedic ode to the Danish King's medicinal drops, and a tall-tale shanty narrated by a boastful captain named Vrndl recounting impossible sea miracles.13:42 The lyrics are written in a literary, verse-chorus structure with recurring nautical imagery — St. Elmo's fire, bilge flooding, boarding actions, grape shot, and gallows.3:59 No technical sailing instruction or passage narrative is present; the album is a creative work presenting maritime storytelling through original music.
