The process involves sourcing large sandstone rocks from a recent mountain road cave-in, leveling the ground with fill dirt, and laying weed-suppression fabric before planting. They prioritize a natural, terraced aesthetic over a formal, man-made look by partially burying the rocks and spacing plants to allow for future growth. The project includes sourcing various palms and agave plants, with the crew noting significant price discrepancies between local garden centers.10:44 They advise avoiding "agro-boutique" style shops that lack clear pricing, recommending instead that buyers compare costs at multiple nurseries to avoid overpaying for similar inventory.
