Departing Antigua, the vessel navigates the channel without a bow thruster by using the starboard line as a pivot. During the passage, the crew manages squalls reaching 30 knots by reefing the main and deploying the staysail. Over five days, the boat logs 858 miles with a daily average of 171.6 miles. To maintain speed while navigating the Azores high-pressure system, the crew adjusts the course south to find wind. Anti-chafe protection is applied to lines to prevent wear during the extended transit. Upon reaching the Azores, the vessel stops at Horta but departs for Ponta Delgada after failing to secure fuel.
