Hitomi and her husband, who live aboard a yacht in Brazil with their dog Maru, attended the Rio Boat Show in Rio de Janeiro. The event, held in Latin America, featured a seminar series called Nautica Talks, where the captain spoke about the couple's transition to life at sea and their experiences living on a yacht in Brazil. The boat show showcased various vessels, including large catamarans and monohulls, alongside displays from international and Japanese marine manufacturers. During their time in the city, the couple visited Flamengo Park and the 4km-long Copacabana Beach, marking the first beach experience for their dog, Maru. The trip concluded with the couple preparing a meal of Mabo Tofu and tomato-egg stir-fry at their home.
