The crew of the 46-ft sailboat *Bohemia* performs a routine oil change on their Volvo Penta engine while transiting from Panama toward Baja California, Mexico.0:39 To facilitate the process, the owner warms the engine to 50–60°C to reduce oil viscosity, then uses a negative-pressure extractor to remove 9.4 liters of oil through the dipstick tube.1:18 After replacing the oil filter and lubricating the O-ring, the crew refills the engine with 15W-40 diesel oil.5:44 During the passage, the crew encounters a large pod of dolphins and yellowfin tuna, though they fail to hook a fish.8:10 They later execute a mid-ocean trade with the crew of the sailboat *Martini*, exchanging fresh bread for fresh tuna.15:23 Upon arriving at the entrance to Barra de Navidad, the *Bohemia* runs aground on a shallow sandbank.23:44 The crew frees the 20-ton vessel by deploying the genoa to heel the boat, reducing the draft of the keel until it clears the bottom.24:16
