The crew of the catamaran Zatara is relocating the vessel from Miami to Just Catamarans in Dania Beach, Florida, to undergo a major refit.13:29 The project includes replacing the existing engines with two new Yanmar 110-horsepower units, installing new Vetus soundproofing and hoses, and repairing the rudders.16:51 The crew also plans to replace the boom's outhaul and reefing lines and replace their current dinghy with a new Highfield model powered by a 60-horsepower Mercury outboard.17:28 During the transit, the crew integrated a Starlink satellite internet system with Peplink routers and switches to enable remote monitoring of the boat’s instrument panel, bilges, and engine room via cameras.11:18 Upon arrival at the marina, the crew encountered depth limitations that prevented them from dropping the rudders as originally scheduled.20:05 The vessel will remain at the facility for the engine installation and further maintenance before departing for Grenada.13:35
