The crew of the 40-ft catamaran Uma sails four miles downwind from their anchorage to a marina in Porto Cristo, Mallorca. Lacking space to anchor, they secure the vessel bow-in at the marina, utilizing the boat's bowsprit as a passerelle for easier access. This marks their first time med-tying in three months. The crew spends the following days deep-water soloing at local limestone cliffs, accessing the climbing sites via their dinghy to avoid difficult land-based approaches. They also visit the Coves del Drac, a large, tourist-oriented limestone cave system in Mallorca. The tour includes a 25-minute walking path through illuminated stalactite formations followed by a short boat ride across an underground lake. The crew notes that while the guided tour is well-lit and accessible, they prefer the rawness of unmapped, self-explored caves.
