The owners of a home-based off-grid system are upgrading from an EcoFlow Delta Pro to the newer Delta Pro 3 power station.0:58 The transition aims to improve energy management for their household, which relies on high-draw appliances like induction cooktops and air fryers.0:38 The Delta Pro 3 features a 4.1 kWh capacity, which is expandable up to 12 kWh with extra batteries or up to 48 kWh when linked in a multi-unit array.2:18 Unlike its predecessor, the new unit includes dual-voltage output, allowing simultaneous use of 110V and 220V devices, and carries an IP65 rating for protection against dust and water splashes.6:20 The unit integrates a charge controller and inverter, reducing energy conversion losses by allowing direct 12V connections for equipment like security cameras.2:29 It supports seven charging methods, including dual solar inputs capable of handling 2,600 watts of panels.10:54 The system functions as a portable power station or a 10-millisecond uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for critical loads.12:33
