After leaving their Warren Pai 42 catamaran unattended on a mooring in Kilada for five months, the owners returned to find collision damage caused by a drifting vessel.0:06 The impact left deep scratches and gouges along the hull, damaged the rub rail, and compromised several structural beams.3:49 The collision also caused a deck panel to loosen and exposed wood in multiple locations.6:04 Initial repairs involved sanding, filling damaged areas with epoxy, and sealing exposed wood to prevent water intrusion.8:52 The owners plan to complete the final sanding, painting, and application of non-skid decking during a subsequent stay.9:05 Despite the damage, the mooring lines remained secure and the solar panels, while dirty, remained functional.3:42 The owners currently balance their time between working in Germany and maintaining the vessel in Greece, with plans to resume full-time cruising by next summer.10:26
