A shakedown sail around Rhodes on the Lagoon 46 *Reality* covers roughly three days, stopping at Anthony Quinn Bay, Lindos, and the small island of Halki before returning to Rhodes Marina — a full circumnavigation of the island. Anthony Quinn Bay is a congested anchorage; at arrival six boats lay side by side, though five later departed leaving room. At Lindos the crew anchors in seven meters with 35 meters of chain out, notes a second Lagoon 46 anchoring nearby, and observes that their lazy jacks were reinstalled incorrectly. Halki offers a privately owned floating pontoon adjacent to a supermarket, with stern-to mooring: anchor dropped 50 meters out on the port bow, then reversed back to the pontoon with staff ready to take lines. Port Police at Halki stamp documents. Wind is light throughout — 10–12 knots at best, often on the nose — so one engine runs continuously. A guest named Dave is aboard and must reach Rhodes Airport by Wednesday. The crew also takes a day-trip ferry to Simi, visiting the Camaross ruins and lunching ashore. The Halki pontoon's combination of easy stern-to mooring and an immediately adjacent supermarket makes it a practical provisioning stop on a Rhodes circumnavigation.
