The Westerly Marine Ltd. Centaur 26 is a 7.9-meter Masthead Sloop with a twin keel hull, designed by Laurent Giles and built by Westerly Marine Ltd. from 1969 to 1980. It was Westerly's most successful model and the most popular British production sailboat in its size range. The Centaur 26 displaces 3039 kg, has a beam of 2.6 meters, and a draft of 0.9 meters.7:31 Some units were delivered with a ketch rig, and a center cockpit/aft cabin variant, the CHIEFTAIN, was introduced in 1972.7:33
