The Beneteau Fletan is a 4.9-meter fractional sloop designed by Andre Beneteau, built by Beneteau from 1966 to the present. It displaces 400 kg with a 1.8-meter beam and 1.2-meter draft, offered in both an open cockpit day sailor and a cabin/cuddy cruiser version. Beneteau introduced early fiberglass models like the Fletan and Guppy as the company transitioned from wooden fishing boats to recreational craft in the 1960s, moving towards semi-industrial production and a dealer network.3:53
