Design & history

The Rhodes Swiftsure 33 (Design #692) was sold through Seafarer Yachts in two versions: the original SWIFTSURE and a later COMMODORE SWIFTSURE, sharing the same hull, deck layout, and sailplan but differing in displacement, ballast, interior details, and hardware materials.

Notable features
Original has permanently-fixed cabin table with two folding leaves; centerboard control cable housed in a hollow stainless pole from cabin sole to cabin ceiling.Later COMMODORE model has a fully folding cabin table and a centerboard mechanism operated by a control cable routed inside the port cabinetry.Original fitted with bronze deck hardware and mahogany trim; COMMODORE version fitted with stainless steel and aluminum hardware with teak trim.Displacement and ballast differ slightly between the two versions.
