The Ta Chiao (TAIWAN) Ct-34 is a cutter-rigged, long-keel sailboat designed by C. S. Chen and built by Ta Chiao (TAIWAN) from 1970 to 1987. It has an LOA of 10.1 meters, a beam of 3.1 meters, a draft of 1.5 meters, and a displacement of 7302 kg. The design is loosely based on Philip Rhodes's DOG STAR from the late 1920s, which later became the TRAVELLER 32. The Ct-34 was built at the behest of Seacomber, Inc., with C.S. Chen as one of the owners of Ta Chiao at the time.
