The crew of the 16-ton vessel Nandji - Frothlyfe replaces a 25-kilogram Delta anchor with a 33-kilogram model after repeated dragging incidents in anchorages near the Mentawai Islands.2:47 The installation follows a series of mechanical failures, including a leaking inline pump installed on the toilet seacock and broken reefing lines inside the boom.5:52 The crew attempts to re-thread the reefing lines through the boom without removing rivets.9:49 After installing the new anchor, the boat holds securely during a 30-knot squall.11:52 Additional maintenance tasks include cleaning the gas stove burners and replacing a galley faucet.8:14 The crew prepares the boat for upcoming passages by testing systems and performing engine and generator maintenance to ensure readiness for weather windows.16:24 The vessel remains in the Mentawai region of West Sumatra for the remainder of the season.1:31
