The pair attempts to organize a hike to a nearby volcano crater, but logistical challenges with dog transport on local buses and high taxi costs, combined with deteriorating weather, lead them to cancel the excursion. The boat lacks a windlass, requiring manual anchor retrieval for all maneuvers.
