Chris and Karmen attend the 2025 Annapolis Boat Show aboard a 74-foot schooner with crews from Sailing Yapa, Expedition Drenched, and Leading the Escapades for a sail across Chesapeake Bay.0:38 The show visit is framed around sourcing vendors for an upcoming interior remodel of their boat Vanishing Point, which they bought in Brisbane, Australia in January and is currently in Ensenada at Baja de Malta; they plan to sail her back to Los Angeles before beginning the refit.6:22 One standout product Karmen finds is a suspended halyard-hung deck lounge net, manufactured in Charleston, South Carolina, that weighs under 10 pounds, supports 1,600 pounds, requires no tools or fasteners, and comes in three sizes (54-inch, 60-inch, and king-size equivalent) — pitched as a monohull alternative to catamaran trampolines.5:20 Chris also inspects production boats at the show and criticizes the build quality, noting hollow doors, thin veneer finishes, and poor interior construction despite attractive layouts.3:34 A brief conversation touches on a tentative Pacific crossing plan targeting 2028, timed around the Los Angeles Olympics.11:14
