Qué cubre este vídeo
Tanino Cincotta, an artist based on the island of Salina, Italy, creates sculptures of fish using salvaged materials found in the trash or collected along roads and beaches. His medium includes discarded television antennas, plastic bottles, bottle caps, and scrap metal from car and motorcycle parts. Cincotta also incorporates organic elements, such as rosemary roots, into his designs. He constructs these pieces on a workbench inherited from his former carpenter father.1:47 The artist often names his creations, such as "Fata degli abissi," and uses alcohol-based pigments to finish metal surfaces.4:44 Local residents and visitors frequently contribute materials for his work, which he views as a source of personal satisfaction rather than financial gain.6:14 Cincotta’s sculptures are displayed outside his workshop to advertise his activity, and he continues to experiment with new forms, including using suitcase wheels and diving fins to represent fish anatomy.7:26
