Qué cubre este vídeo

A 30-mile coastal passage from Helmsdale to Cromarty, Scotland, involves navigating a northeasterly wind and anchoring in the river near the local yacht club. The crew manages a light-wind passage using an asymmetrical spinnaker, with the tack line secured to a through-bolted block on the deck. Upon arrival in Cromarty, the crew anchors in sand in 12 knots of wind, opting for the anchorage over visitor moorings. Maintenance tasks include relocating deck hardware to improve spinnaker trim. The crew fills old mounting holes with thickened epoxy and gelcoat filler, then installs new hardwood mounting blocks for the spinnaker tack points. These blocks are bedded with Pureflex sealant and secured with custom-made backing plates inside the sail locker to ensure a watertight, structural fit. The project concludes with sanding and applying teak oil to the hardwood blocks.
