Simon and Kim are selling their boat, Britican, and transitioning to life ashore after 10 years of full-time cruising.2:56 The decision follows their daughter’s desire for a stable home environment, consistent schooling, and proximity to friends.0:25 While the couple remains supportive of the sailing lifestyle, they have moved their "Britican Experience" charter business onto a friend’s catamaran, Manava.4:40 Simon currently operates this catamaran for charter guests, while Kim has relocated to live with her parents to assist with family health matters.8:48 Britican is listed for sale with a new broker who recently completed a 360-degree tour of the vessel.3:58 Kim notes that while she prefers the sailing motion of a monohull, she finds the catamaran superior for living at anchor due to its flat deck and spacious flybridge.6:09 The couple plans to purchase a house once the sale of their boat concludes.6:22
