At the atoll, the crew adheres to strict marine park regulations, which prohibit fishing and require stowing all fishing gear to avoid severe legal penalties. The crew spends several days diving at sites including Wall Street and Shark Alley before visiting the ranger station to meet the staff who monitor the protected area for 60-day rotations.
