Qué cubre este vídeo
The owner of a 1989 CT 56 navigates the shallow waters of the Abacos, Bahamas, while managing interpersonal conflicts with his crew. After experiencing friction, the crew stays in a hotel before eventually departing the vessel to join another catamaran. The solo sailor maneuvers the 56-foot boat from an anchorage south of Tahiti Beach to Hopetown, navigating around shallow areas that increase the transit distance from three to eight miles. He utilizes a Milwaukee right-angle drill to operate manual winches and relies on a feathering propeller to reduce drag while under sail. During the trip, the crew visits the Elbow Reef Lighthouse and Onda Beach, utilizing a Highfield dinghy for shore access. The vessel runs out of fuel directly in front of a fuel dock, necessitating a quick refill. The owner confirms he will continue sailing solo before a returning crew member joins him for the passage back to the United States.
