The team also begins finishing the bathroom, focusing on sealing window gaps and applying waterproof vinyl cladding over existing carpet. They install marine-grade through-hull fittings to seal the grey water tanks for the kitchen and shower drainage systems. These fittings connect to the plumbing lines for both the kitchen sink and the shower basin. The project involves custom-cutting wood pieces to fit irregular spaces around the window frames to ensure a proper seal before final waterproofing.
