Qué cubre este vídeo
The crew of *Into the Mystic* performs a series of refit projects to prepare for a week-long trip to Catalina Island. After completing a cooling system overhaul on their Yanmar engine, they install a custom gauge cluster at the helm to monitor coolant temperature and oil pressure. Because the existing senders do not match the new gauges, they use an infrared temperature sensor to verify engine performance during initial testing. The crew also replaces a failed, inefficient refrigerator with a new, smaller compressor unit and evaporator plate. They partition the existing 14-cubic-foot icebox to create both a fridge and a freezer section. During the installation of the evaporator plate, they accidentally kink the tubing while bending it to fit the box dimensions, but the unit successfully reaches freezing temperatures during testing. Finally, they install a budget-friendly EVA foam decking sample in the cockpit to evaluate its durability against staining and fading.
