Qué cubre este vídeo
The crew of the *Blue Horizon* transits the 6-km Corinth Canal in Greece, moving from the Gulf of Corinth to the Saronic Gulf. After anchoring outside the canal entrance to avoid a crowded harbor, the crew secures a transit slot by radioing port control early the next morning. The transit costs 275 Euro for the vessel. Following the canal passage, the crew anchors at the uninhabited island of Agios Thomas, noting aggressive gull behavior during the nesting season.
During a subsequent passage toward the island of Aegina, the crew encounters 25-knot winds and significant swell, which causes their dinghy to bounce heavily while towed. While underway, they monitor a distress call from a vessel near Moni Island reporting a fishing line fouled in its propeller. Upon reaching Aegina, the crew utilizes a local supermarket’s delivery service to transport heavy provisions to their dinghy. They later anchor in a small bay, securing the boat with two stern lines to the shore to stabilize their position during a birthday celebration.
