Simultaneously, the crew managed a hull-refinishing project, which included sanding the exterior hull and removing the boat's red boot stripe.1:01 While professional contractors handled the primary sanding, the owners performed detail work and applied a Kevlar layer to the hull for impact protection.10:23 The project also involved installing new cockpit drainage holes and preparing the davit frame for final welding.17:11 The crew noted that the structural modifications were necessary to prevent water ingress and ensure long-term integrity.9:50
