Pablo Berrus, anchored off Langkawi, Malaysia during a solo circumnavigation, describes four connectivity methods that failed him before switching to HolaFly eSIM service.0:38 Roaming data produced a shocking bill after just 15 minutes in the Caribbean.1:00 Local SIM cards required inflating the dinghy, motoring to shore, finding a shop, and repeating the process every month per country.1:12 Café and hotel Wi-Fi was too slow to export or upload video.1:54 Onboard satellite internet carries a monthly data cap he reserves for offshore passages.2:11 HolaFly's eSIM, already tested in Indonesia and Malaysia, installs via QR code or two manual codes sent by email after purchase — no physical SIM swap, no store visit.7:20 Plans include an Unlimited tier (unlimited data, hotspot, global coverage, retains local number) and a Light tier (25 GB, hotspot available).4:03 Both cover 160-plus destinations; a separate global eSIM covers 120 countries.4:41 When a plan expires, an Always On mode provides 1 GB in 70-plus destinations at no extra charge.7:07 A Thailand week of unlimited data costs €25.56.6:57 Discount code "Pablo Berrusales" gives 5% off.6:17 Device compatibility must be verified on HolaFly's website before purchase.
