¿Qué cubre este video?
The crew of the catamaran Supernova performs a series of maintenance tasks while hauled out, focusing on dinghy repairs and hatch resealing. To remove hatches previously bedded with silicone and 5200, the crew uses thin plastic paddles to create a gap, then cuts the adhesive with a multi-tool. For the dinghy, the crew hires a local mechanic named Bernardino to repair the outboard motor. After the repair, they use the boat's boom, a car, and dock lines to lower the dinghy into the water. During the initial sea trial, they discover the steering is reversed, which they plan to correct by adjusting the motor alignment and installing guards. Additionally, the crew replaces wire components on the dinghy lift with Dyneema, utilizing loop splices. They also prepare to install a new lithium battery bank, moving the units inside the vessel for security.
