Cosa tratta questo video

The owner of the Alberg 30 *Triteia* replaces a failed PVC dinghy after its seams delaminated during a season in Indonesia. Attempting to purchase a rigid plastic replacement in Bali proved difficult due to failed international wire transfers and ATM withdrawal limits for foreign bank accounts. After multiple failed transactions, the owner successfully paid for the new dinghy in cash at a Bali chandlery. Logistics required shipping the unit to Mataram, Lombok, followed by a local truck transport to the marina. The new, heavier rigid dinghy requires modifications to accommodate oars, wheels, and a lifting harness for storage on the foredeck. While the rigid construction eliminates concerns about punctures and water ingress, the owner notes the boat is more tippy than the previous inflatable and requires a throttle extender for proper weight distribution. The owner plans to use the new dinghy for the remainder of the circumnavigation.
