Brittany and Jeremiah return to their 2013 Antares 44i sailboat, Calypso, after an eight-month absence.5:28 The couple, traveling with their newborn daughter Brynn and son Reese, spent the previous months living in an RV while crossing the United States.3:03 Upon boarding the boat, they begin reconfiguring the interior to accommodate an infant, noting the need for a safe space for the baby.6:40 Jeremiah inspects the boat's electrical system, confirming the lithium battery bank remains at 100% charge.8:07 To prepare the RV for a summer trip, Jeremiah replaces six 6-volt flooded lead-acid house batteries that failed due to neglect and lack of maintenance.11:11 He performs a one-for-one swap and tests the system by connecting the RV to a 15-amp shore power outlet using a series of adapters to maintain the battery charge and run the refrigerator.13:03 The family plans to transition back to full-time life aboard Calypso after completing their summer travel commitments.14:31
