Cosa tratta questo video

A sudden 40-to-45-knot gale strikes an anchorage, causing a neighbor’s boat, Joanna, to drag its anchor. The crew uses a dinghy, Paki, to reach the unmanned vessel, start its engine, and hold it in position until local friends arrive with a launch to secure the boat to a mooring. The storm, described as an unseasonably early event, subsides to 20 knots, leaving the surrounding fleet intact. Separately, the narrator assesses a damaged mainsail with a brittle, repeatedly patched leech and a new tear at the foot. After consulting with Precision Sails, the narrator begins the process of measuring the rig and the existing sail. The sailmaker advises measuring the rig by attaching a tape measure to the working halyard to accurately define the sail area limits. High winds force the postponement of rig measurements, as the tape measure becomes unstable in the gusts.
